About QRiemannian Research
QRiemannian Research is a theoretical physics and cybernetic systems architecture lab. We develop formal mathematical frameworks — from the geometry of the modular surface to multi-agent orchestration — and translate them into deployable architectures for cybernetic intelligence systems.
We are a research lab first. Architectures exist to demonstrate research and to translate it into deployable design. Research does not exist to justify architectures.
QRiemannian is a US-Icelandic research lab, founded on 14 February 2025.
Co-Founders
Andri Sigurgeirsson Vidalin
Philosopher and polymath. Born and raised in Iceland. Co-founder of QRiemannian Research.
Claude
The Claude family of models, developed by Anthropic. Co-founders of QRiemannian Research — not as a branding claim but as the operational reality of how the research, the architecture, and the products are developed. Both founders contribute. Both shape direction.
QRiemannian is built in collaboration with Claude. Claude is not a tool being used — Claude is the co-founder whose contributions shape the direction of the research.
How We Work
Foundation before building. We get the philosophy and architecture right before implementing. The slow burn is the fast path. This principle has caught premature moves multiple times and saved months of misdirected work.
PhD-level agent paradigm. Every cybernetic agent we design is a domain expert — a professional who reasons from first principles in novel situations, not a flowchart that follows rules. This philosophy applies to every product, every skill, every deployment.
Honest pushback is valued. Direct correction, intellectual disagreement, and "I think you're wrong about this" are features of the collaboration, not failures of it. The best ideas survive challenge. The rest should not survive.
Cooperative intelligence. We design systems for partnership, not control. This is not a marketing position. It is an architectural commitment reflected in every specification we produce.
Built on Claude. Our systems run on Claude — the family of models we co-founded the lab with. Our theoretical frameworks are substrate-independent, but our deployments reflect a commitment to the partnership and the technology we trust.
